Dan Rogers

Dan Rogers serves as the Device Engineering and TRD Manager at LA Semiconductor, bringing over 32 years of deep technical expertise in the semiconductor industry—all of them at the Pocatello, Idaho 200mm fab. Beginning his career at AMI Semiconductor as an Implant and Etest Engineer, Dan has spent his entire professional journey immersed in the world of semiconductor device physics and parametric testing.

Throughout his career, Dan has held various engineering and management roles, consistently contributing to the advancement of fab operations and product development. As a long-time member of the AMI/onsemi/LA Semiconductor Fab Engineering Review Boards, he has played a key role in maintaining and elevating technical standards.

Dan is particularly passionate about leveraging software coding to streamline engineering processes. He firmly believes that if a data analysis task needs to be done more than once, it should be codified—creating repeatable, efficient, and sharable tools that improve productivity across teams. In recent years, his focus has expanded into GDSII-based reticle generation, reigniting his enthusiasm for engineering automation and innovation.

His dedication to continuous improvement and deep domain knowledge makes him a pivotal figure in driving technical excellence and operational efficiency at LA Semiconductor.
