LA Semiconductor is looking for Chemical & Gas Engineer that will be responsible for the maintenance and support of semiconductor facility systems.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop, validate, and implement innovative solutions through the utilization of engineering principles.
- Develop, evaluate, and implement Standard Operating Procedures and performance measure to ensure simplification and accuracy of work methods and reliability of systems.
- Develop Predictive and Preventive Maintenance improvement framework to minimize maintenance, repair and replacement costs and mitigate the risk of the equipment’s breakdown or interruptions to production.
- Conducts feasibility, cost and optimize.
- Develop and maintain equipment FMEA.
- Interface directly with production team to identify and analyze critical needs, define problems, and develop specifications to guide the solution process.
- Plan and execute reliability improvement projects to focused on new technology development, evaluation, and application to both to both existing and emerging risk.
- Develop initiatives and strategies that lead to cost saving and improvement plan.
- Communicate and implement project expansion works within consultant, contractor and procurement.
- Priority to work with project team on the given task done within the timeline.
- To provide exceptional skills in prioritizing work and able to complete multi task projects.
- Key player to maintain compliance with standards such as RBA, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, IATF 16949, and State of Idaho DEQ. Stringent to ensure all aspects meet the industrial requirements.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Experience with compressed gas systems such as: CDA, Nitrogen, Argon, Hydrogen, Oxygen, and Helium.
- Experience with chemical delivery systems.
- Ability to perform flow analysis of piping systems in gas and liquid state.
- Familiar with electrical power consumption calculations.
- Familiar with current codes and regulations pertaining to piping, gas, and chemical handling.
- Ability to maintain audit status within standards such as RBA, ISO, and environmental with stringent compliance.
- Project management and supervision skills.
- Creativity in troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate and work in a highly effective team environment.
- Preferred experience with power company incentive programs.
- Preferred current licensed PE in the state of Idaho or willing to obtain.
Education Requirements:
- Degree holder in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or other equivalent engineering field of study.
- Preferred 2-5 years and above hands-on experience in manufacturing facility.
