LA Semiconductor is looking to hire Manufacturing Technician/Cleanroom Operators to support operations at our Pocatello, ID semiconductor fabrication plant! Our products are found in popular high-tech devices, drones, automotive rear-view cameras, gaming systems, medical devices, and even self-driving cars!

- Enjoy working together with equipment technicians (mechanics who are charged with maintenance), process technicians (fix any defects in the wafers), engineers, and managers to produce the highest quality product.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operating manufacturing tools to process high-quality products.
- Working in a self-directed work team environment to achieve daily goals.
- Interfacing with computer systems to perform job duties.
- Performing all activities in a safe and responsible manner and supporting all Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements and programs.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Language Fluency – English (Written & Verbal)
- Must be able to work a 12-hour shift in a clean-room environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds over the head and frequently move it over extended distances
- Must be able to stand, stoop, and reach for extended periods of time.
- Comfortable working with and around chemicals (safety training is provided)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to multitask
- Organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and complete tasks.
- Unrestricted right to work in the United States
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Schedule: Our manufacturing site is a 24/7 facility. Our operators work 12-hour shifts.
Shifts
Shift A: Sunday – Tuesday; Every other Wednesday 6:45am – 7pm
Shift C: Thursday-Saturday; Every other Wednesday 6:45am 7pm
Shift B: Sunday-Tuesday; Every other Saturday 6:45pm-7am
Shift D: Wednesday-Friday; Every other Saturday 6:45pm-7am
Pay: $16.00 – $18.40 per hour
